What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment designed to hydrate, remodel and strengthen the skin. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, it spreads evenly beneath the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production while delivering intense hydration.
I often describe Profhilo as a treatment that helps skin behave like younger skin again.
It is made from one of the highest concentrations of pure hyaluronic acid available and works by improving:

How is Profhilo different from dermal filler?
This is an important distinction.

What does Profhilo treatment involve?
Profhilo is delivered using a specific injection technique with a small number of precise points. The treatment itself is quick, and most patients return to normal activities the same day.
For best results, I usually recommend a course of two to three treatments, spaced four weeks apart, followed by maintenance depending on your skin and lifestyle.
Results develop gradually, with improvements in hydration and glow often noticed within weeks, and continued improvement in firmness and elasticity over time.
Profhilo as part of a long-term skin strategy
One of the reasons I love Profhilo is how well it fits into a preventative, long-term approach to ageing.
It pairs beautifully with treatments such as:

Even with injectable treatments, skincare remains essential. To support and maintain Profhilo results, I often recommend antioxidant serums such as SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic or Phloretin CF, alongside retinoids and daily SPF.
This combination protects collagen, enhances glow and helps skin stay strong between treatments.
