Polynucleotides

What happens during a clinic treatment?

During your eye treatment at Moreton Aesthetics, you will first have a consultation with Dr Nabila, who will assess the condition of your skin and discuss your concerns. Based on your needs, we will recommend the most suitable treatment plan, which may include a combination of PRP, polynucleotides, Sunekos® Performa, or dermal fillers.

The treatment itself is quick and minimally invasive, with local anaesthetic applied to ensure your comfort. You may feel a slight sensation during the injections, but the process is generally well tolerated.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required will depend on the specific treatment and your individual skin concerns. 

Typically, 3-4 sessions of a skinbooster are sufficient, with follow-up treatments scheduled every 3-6 months to maintain results. 

Tear trough dermal filler may require just one session.

How soon will I see results?

Results vary depending on the treatment, but you can typically expect to see improvements within 3-4 weeks of having a skinbooster, to give time for noticeable changes as collagen production is stimulated. 

The effects of dermal fillers are almost immediate, with swelling and bruising subsiding within a few days.

What is the downtime?

You may experience some mild swelling, bruising, or redness in the treated area, which generally resolves within 1-2 days. It’s advised to avoid strenuous activities and excessive sun exposure during the first 24 hours after treatment.

Are there any side effects?

Side effects are rare but may include minor swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection site. These effects are usually temporary and will subside within a few days. Serious side effects are uncommon, but our team will monitor you closely during your treatment and provide aftercare advice to ensure the best possible results.

How long do results last?

Results vary based on the treatment, but in general:

• PRP: Results last around 6-12 month before a maintenance session is needed.

• Polynucleotides: Typically last 6-9 months.

• Sunekos® Performa: Effects last 6-9 months, with regular maintenance treatments recommended for long-term benefits.

• Tear trough dermal filler: Results can last 12-18 months, depending on the type of filler used and your individual metabolism.
