After an in-depth consultation with Dr Nabila, your skin will be cleansed and a series of superficial injections will be placed in the targeted areas using a fine needle or cannula. The treatment is quick, usually taking around 30–45 minutes, and is well tolerated with minimal discomfort. Numbing cream can be applied if needed.

Polynucleotides work by boosting the skin’s own regenerative processes, so no synthetic volumisers or toxins are used – just pure, bio-compatible ingredients that help your skin repair and renew itself naturally.

How many sessions will I need?

For optimal results, a course of 3 treatments spaced 2-3 weeks apart is typically recommended. However, your personal plan will be tailored during your consultation to ensure the best outcome based on your skin’s needs and your individual goals.

You may begin to notice a soft glow or slight improvement in hydration after your first session, but the most significant changes typically appear after the second or third treatment, as your skin begins to regenerate from within. What is the downtime?

You may experience mild redness, swelling or tiny injection marks for up to 24–48 hours. Most patients return to their normal activities the same or next day.

Are there any side effects?

As polynucleotides are made from highly purified DNA fragments that closely resemble human tissue, the risk of adverse reactions is extremely low. Mild bruising or swelling at injection sites is the most common side effect, but these are temporary and generally resolve quickly.

How long do polynucleotide results last?

Results from polynucleotide treatments can last up to 6–9 months, depending on your skin condition, lifestyle and treatment area. This makes it an excellent option for ongoing skin rejuvenation and maintenance.

Do I need maintenance sessions and after how long?

To maintain your results, a single maintenance session every 3-6 months is usually sufficient. Some patients choose to combine polynucleotides with other treatments.
