POLYNUCLEOTIDES

Polynucleotide Skinboosters at Moreton Aesthetics

Polynucleotides are a new generation of regenerative skin treatments designed to improve skin quality, hydration, elasticity and radiance at a cellular level. At Moreton Aesthetics, we offer advanced polynucleotide injections using the clinically renowned Plinest brand – the original and most studied formulation in this innovative field. Plinest polynucleotides are derived from highly purified salmon DNA, which closely mimics human DNA and promotes natural tissue regeneration.

This scientifically backed treatment works by stimulating fibroblast activity and collagen production while reducing inflammation and oxidative stress, leading to visibly healthier, firmer and more youthful skin over time.

Who are polynucleotides suitable for?

Polynucleotide treatments are suitable for a wide range of individuals, particularly those experiencing early signs of ageing, dull or dehydrated skin, acne scarring, sun damage or loss of firmness. This gentle yet powerful regenerative option is ideal if you’re looking for a more natural approach to skin rejuvenation without altering facial volume or expression.

They are also well-suited to patients who may not yet be ready for dermal fillers or more invasive procedures.

Where can polynucleotides be used?

Plinest polynucleotides can be used across several areas of the face and body, including:

Thanks to their regenerative action, polynucleotides are particularly effective in delicate or thin-skinned areas where other treatments may not be suitable.

What are polynucleotide results like?

Results from polynucleotide treatments are subtle, natural and progressive. You can expect a visible improvement in skin texture, tone and hydration, as well as a firmer and more youthful appearance. Over time, skin looks brighter, more even and resilient. Patients often notice an overall improvement in skin health and a reduction in fine lines, acne scarring or inflammation-related redness.

What happens during a polynucleotide treatment?

After an in-depth consultation with Dr Nabila, your skin will be cleansed and a series of superficial injections will be placed in the targeted areas using a fine needle or cannula. The treatment is quick, usually taking around 30–45 minutes, and is well tolerated with minimal discomfort. Numbing cream can be applied if needed.

Polynucleotides work by boosting the skin’s own regenerative processes, so no synthetic volumisers or toxins are used – just pure, bio-compatible ingredients that help your skin repair and renew itself naturally.

How many sessions will I need?

For optimal results, a course of 3 treatments spaced 2-3 weeks apart is typically recommended. However, your personal plan will be tailored during your consultation to ensure the best outcome based on your skin’s needs and your individual goals.

How soon will I see results?

You may begin to notice a soft glow or slight improvement in hydration after your first session, but the most significant changes typically appear after the second or third treatment, as your skin begins to regenerate from within. Full results continue to develop for several weeks after your final session.

What is the downtime?

You may experience mild redness, swelling or tiny injection marks for up to 24–48 hours. Most patients return to their normal activities the same or next day.

To minimise any risks and promote healing, we recommend following the aftercare advice provided by Dr Nabila at your appointment.

Are there any side effects?

As polynucleotides are made from highly purified DNA fragments that closely resemble human tissue, the risk of adverse reactions is extremely low. Mild bruising or swelling at injection sites is the most common side effect, but these are temporary and generally resolve quickly.

How long do polynucleotide results last?

Results from polynucleotide treatments can last up to 6–9 months, depending on your skin condition, lifestyle and treatment area. This makes it an excellent option for ongoing skin rejuvenation and maintenance.

Do I need maintenance sessions and after how long?

To maintain your results, a single maintenance session every 3-6 months is usually sufficient. Some patients choose to combine polynucleotides with other treatments

During your consultation, we will create a bespoke treatment plan to help you maintain your glow year-round.

Skin Rejuvenation with polynucleotides in Blackburn at Moreton Aesthetics

Discover the next generation of skin rejuvenation with polynucleotides at Moreton Aesthetics - an advanced aesthetics and wellbeing clinic based at the elegant Stanley House Hotel & Spa in Blackburn. Led by Dr Nabila, dentist, we offer innovative treatments that restore skin health from within.

Polynucleotides are powerful biostimulators that work by stimulating collagen and elastin production, making them ideal for improving skin laxity, texture, and overall radiance. This regenerative treatment is especially effective for delicate areas such as under the eyes, targeting dark eye circles, puffiness, hollowing and crepey eyeskin. It’s also beneficial in reducing the appearance of scarring, fine lines and early signs of ageing.

Unlike traditional injectables, polynucleotides encourage natural cellular repair, resulting in firmer, smoother and more youthful skin over time.
